The Challenge

Foxconn is multinational subsidiary of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd, which was founded in 1974. Today, Foxconn Technology Group is the most dependable partner for joint-design, joint-development, manufacturing, assembly and after-sales services to global Computer, Communication and Consumer-electronics ("3C") leaders. Foxconn aimed to expand the storage capacity of the Komarom’s headquarter and ideally was looking to find the appropriate property in the Komarom area.

The Solution

Step 1: C&W has introduced different alternatives in Komarom and in the surrounding cities (Gyor, Hegyeshalom etc.). Since the required quality and size of facility has not been found in the preferred location, C&W has introduced buildings to Foxconn in the Budapest region, through organizing several meetings and viewings between the company and the landlords.

Step 2: After collecting all lease offers from the landlords, C&W professionals have ranked the offers by their attractiveness for the tenant and his preliminary goals.
Step 3: Following the selection process, two buildings were shortlisted and a detailed comparison of the latest offers has resulted a well established decision.

The Results

C&W consultants secured 11,380 sq m warehouse and 100 sq m office space for Foxconn at Westlog DC, in Biatorbágy. With the contribution of C&W, Foxconn has occupied their new warehouse and office space in February 2011 and became the largest tenant of Westlog DC.
